Anna Fank
Position: Spanish Teacher
Specialty: Spanish II & IV
Professional Credentials: Graduated from
Augustana College with education in Spanish
What do you do outside of school: “I love to
play and coach soccer, read, go on walks, bike,
and spend time with friends.”
Greatest Accomplishment: Moving to Italy for
a year and a half and playing soccer there.
Nobody Knows that…“I have swam with
sharks multiple times and loved it.”
Favorite book: “One Italian Summer” by Rebecca Serle
Favorite movie: “Remember the Titans”
If you could have dinner with anyone: “Adam Sandler
because I think he’s hilarious.”
Most embarrassing teaching moment: “I was
carrying all my things to my classroom and I dropped
every single paper and pen I had.”
This year I am excited…“to build relationships with
students and get to know everyone a bit more…and
be a familiar face in the building.”
Evan Dueth
Position: Language Arts Teacher
Specialty: English 10
Professional Credentials: Bachelor of Arts in
English and Masters of Arts in Leadership
What do you do outside of school: “I like to play my
guitar, spend time with my family, and coach
girls’ cross country so I enjoy running and being outside.”
Greatest Accomplishment: Finishing my Masters’s Degree
Nobody Knows that…“my Dad used to be
a funeral director and when I was born,
my parents took me to a funeral home and
that’s where I lived.”
Favorite book: “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell
Favorite movie: “Back to the Future”
If you could have dinner with anyone: “John Mayer,
he’s one of my favorite guitarists.”
This year I am excited… “to make my way through
the new things that I’m learning so that next year
I’m in a good spot for teaching.”
Most embarrassing teaching moment: “I kept on calling
a student by the wrong name but they just went with it until
they finally corrected me after many weeks.”
Rebecca Harris
Position: Math Teacher
Specialty: Algebra II & Pre-Calculus
Professional Credentials: Masters’s in
Ciriclumm Instruction and Major in Math
What do you do outside of school: “I have a
four-month-old daughter I take care of and I run as well.”
Greatest Accomplishment: “I think being a mom has
changed a lot of perspectives…balancing being the
best mom possible and the best teacher possible.”
Nobody Knows that…“I’m a huge
sports fan of football, hockey and golf.”
Favorite book: “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkien
Favorite movie: “Miracle”
If you could have dinner with anyone: “My late
grandma…she was a math teacher and she was
the reason I became one.”
Most embarrassing teaching moment: “I always like
to laugh at myself when I make mistakes…I have to own
and embrace my flaws.”
This year I am excited…“to make connections
with kids…I hope by next year people will come and say
hi to me as they have with their old teachers.”
