Evan Dueth

Position: Language Arts Teacher

Specialty: English 10

Professional Credentials: Bachelor of Arts in

English and Masters of Arts in Leadership

What do you do outside of school: “I like to play my

guitar, spend time with my family, and coach

girls’ cross country so I enjoy running and being outside.”

Greatest Accomplishment: Finishing my Masters’s Degree

Nobody Knows that…“my Dad used to be

a funeral director and when I was born,

my parents took me to a funeral home and

that’s where I lived.”

Favorite book: “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell

Favorite movie: “Back to the Future”

If you could have dinner with anyone: “John Mayer,

he’s one of my favorite guitarists.”

This year I am excited… “to make my way through

the new things that I’m learning so that next year

I’m in a good spot for teaching.”

Most embarrassing teaching moment: “I kept on calling

a student by the wrong name but they just went with it until

they finally corrected me after many weeks.”
