    Nora Dunbar slumps over, her head in her hands as she grieves for those who lost their lives during the Sandy Hook shooting. Dunbar played Kat and Sally. 
On Nov. 7 and 8, the drama department performed "26 Pebbles," a play that focusses on how Newtown, Connecticut dealt with the trauma of what was one the worst school shootings in American history. In the district, the play sparked community backlash as parents took to social media with their concerns. The Growl takes a deeper look at the controversy and how Sandy Hook changed how Americans deal with national tragedies.
