Leader of the pack: Quarterback Charlie Zimmerman’s experience at the helm has helped him lead the Bulldogs to a 3-0 start.

It was another dominating performance by the Bulldogs last Friday versus Urbandale. The 48-10 route of the J-Hawks continued what is shaping up to be a season of redemption for the Dogs. The offense gained 423 yards through a balanced air and ground attack, doubling Urbandale’s total offensive output.

Charlie Zimmerman’s play under center has been steady; while tight end Jake Schulz has been a prime target, notching five receptions for 135 receiving yards and two touchdowns during last Friday’s performance.

The Bulldogs take on Lin Mar tonight at 7:15 and will try to make it two road victories in a row in hopes of going 4-0 and flipping the script from last season’s 0-4 start.
