This Friday, the Bettendorf Bulldogs face the Muskies of Muscatine at Muscatine High School. Both teams are seeking their first win of the season as the Bulldogs (0-2) lost their previous contest to No. 7 Cedar Rapids Kennedy Cougars 34-0, and the Muskies (0-2) lost a high-scoring battle against the Iowa City West Trojans 42-21.

The key to Friday’s game will be stopping the run game. Muscatine runs a run-heavy offense behind running back Ty Cozad. Other than Cozad? Well, the Muskies have completed just two passes through their first two games.
